Newark

We are here, the year 2018, housing boom has taken place in Newark. New Era...new developments...new constructions…new communities, new opportunities!  Newark has substantially grown over the last 5 years because of the economic growth of the technology and biotech companies in which supports the local economy attracting the Real Estate market rise.

According to Trulia, Newark market trends indicate an increase of $95,500 (14%) in median home sales over the past year. The average price per square foot for this same period rose to $536, up from $472.

Not many people are aware of this small city as this hidden gem is in the heart of the valley, located about thirty minutes away from San Francisco depending on traffic and is only a short distance to Palo Alto and Silicon Valley.  New homes are being built on a regular basis here.  Along with this, new parks and elementary schools are being built.  Newark is for sure a new city, a great place to BUY a home or invest in business.

I was not born and raised in Newark California, but I find this city to be very beautiful. Newark offers Coyote Hills Regional Park a nature with wildlife.  This place is my favorite nature getaway. I love the peaceful and relaxing feeling when I’m hiking, jogging, or biking here. This place is great for everyone and a dog friendly park: lots of easy trails, both pave and dirt.  It has a gorgeous view of the East Bay Mountain, Bayview and Inland views from the hilltops.

Another thing I love about this city is the newly expanded and modern renovated mall here; Newpark Mall. The mall offers a new 24-hour Fitness, Super Sport, outdoor dining area such as Jack’s Restaurant and a new Bar called Vinum that just opened last month.

One last thing I love about this diversified city of Newark is that even with rising costs, the people here form a tight-knit community and you’re sure to find your place here.  If you have any questions about the city of Newark, feel free to contact me.  I’d be happy to share my experiences and provide you any information about the city, my local business partners, and current real estate trends.
